Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Cloud / Windows Engineer to join our Managed Services and Cloud Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Public Cloud, Windows Infrastructure (Wintel), Azure Networking, Monitoring, and Incident Management.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, supporting, and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure solutions while providing L2/L3 operational support in accordance with defined SLAs and ITIL processes. The role requires excellent troubleshooting abilities, automation skills, and customer-facing communication.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Incident Management
- Provide L2/L3 support for Microsoft Azure Public Cloud and Windows Infrastructure environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure, networking, and Windows server-related incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor cloud environments and proactively identify potential issues.
- Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem management activities following ITIL best practices.
Azure Infrastructure & Operations
- Deploy, configure, and support Azure infrastructure services.
- Manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and Security Services.
- Configure and support Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery solutions.
- Implement locally redundant and geographically redundant architectures.
- Support Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions.
- Assist with migration of on-premises workloads and infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
- Maintain operational stability, availability, and performance of Azure environments.
Azure Networking & Security
- Design and manage Azure networking solutions.
- Configure Virtual Network Gateways, VPN Connectivity, ExpressRoute, and hybrid network integrations.
- Implement Azure network security and access control policies.
- Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies.
- Troubleshoot Azure network connectivity, routing, DNS, and firewall-related issues.
Service Delivery Automation
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify repetitive operational tasks and automate them using Azure-native tools and scripting.
- Support infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation initiatives.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Contribute to knowledge management initiatives and technical repositories.
- Ensure operational procedures remain current and aligned with best practices.
Escalation Management
- Coordinate technical escalations with internal engineering teams and Microsoft Support.
- Manage critical incidents and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
- Ensure successful resolution of customer issues through effective collaboration.

- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Public Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure Administration and Support.
