Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve excellence in English literature, language, and communication skills. The role involves teaching high school students, fostering a love for English, and preparing them for academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English literature, grammar, and writing.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
• Prepare students for board examinations and other academic assessments.
• Student Engagement and Support
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a love for reading and writing.
• Provide academic support and individualized instruction as needed.
• Assessment and Evaluation
• Regularly evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Collaboration and Career development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to align teaching methods and goals.
• Participate in professional development programs and training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
• A B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is mandatory.
• Experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in CBSE, ICSE, or international curricula.
• Skills
• Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in modern teaching methods and educational technology.
• Ability to manage a diverse classroom and adapt teaching strategies.
