Job Description – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer

Location: Bangalore / Coimbatore

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer with strong expertise in dashboard development, data modeling, and analytics solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, develop, and optimize analytics dashboards and reporting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.

Must-Have Skills & Experience Experience

• 3–6 years of overall experience in BI / Analytics.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in SAC dashboard design, stories, and visualization development.
• Hands-on experience with SAC data modeling.
• Experience with SAC scripting / Analytic Applications (JavaScript).
• Experience building interactive dashboards using charts, tables, KPIs, input controls, and linked analysis.
• Strong knowledge of calculated measures, restricted measures, hierarchies, parameters, and formulas.
• Experience integrating SAC with:
• SAP BW (BEx Queries)
• SAP HANA Calculation Views
• SAP S/4HANA CDS Views
• Experience working with Live and Import data connections.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and performance optimization.

Core Responsibilities

• Gather reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders.
• Design and develop responsive dashboards and stories in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Build and maintain SAC data models.
• Develop interactive analytic applications using SAC scripting.
• Establish data connections with SAP and external systems.
• Collaborate with BW/HANA teams for data provisioning and modeling.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of dashboards and reports.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Studio.
• Experience with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere.
• Experience with SAC Mobile and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with SAC Smart Predict, Search to Insight, or Data Analyzer.
• Experience working with REST APIs, OData services, or SAP Cloud Connector.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Optional / Preferred Experience

• Experience with SAC Planning models including:
• Planning versions
• Forecasting and simulations
• Value driver trees
• Allocations and data actions
