Dump Truck Operator

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety . We work remote. We leave on Monday morning and return on Friday . Accommodations Is taken care of. The supper meal is paid for every day.

Duties

• Operate heavy trucks to transport freight between locations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Load and unload heavy equipment necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any maintenance performed on the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck remains in optimal condition.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.
• Previous experience driving tandem axel truck.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair is advantageous for maintaining vehicle functionality.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to driving and transporting goods.
