Laboratory Technician - NTS

Neegan Technical Services is currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily laboratory operations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety by following all Safe Work Practices and Safe Work Procedures
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times while performing tasks
• Analyze samples accurately, safely, and within required timelines
• Ensure all laboratory data is entered correctly and efficiently
• Organize and pre-weigh appropriate sample bottles prior to scheduled sample run times
• Complete and sign daily FLRA’s with team members
• Identify and report hazardous conditions, incidents, and near misses to supervisors
• Lift and carry materials weighing in excess of 20 lbs
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Valid CSTS and OSSA or BSO certifications required
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred; College Certificate or Diploma in Science or related field considered an asset
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills
• Ability to work shift schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team setting
