Job description

Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

YOUR MISSION

True Anomaly protects and defends the space domain, because our way of life depends on it. As a Technical Recruiter, you'll have a direct hand in building the teams that make this possible. You will help shape a high-growth, high-impact organization by hiring the people engineering the future of space security.

We deliver space superiority so the U.S. can operate freely in orbit, blending hardware and software in a way few companies can. In this role, you will partner with technical leaders, support the full recruiting lifecycle, and contribute to processes that scale. Space is the new high ground, we're here to keep it secure, and you'll be building the team that gets us there.

This role is located in our Centennial, CO office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support full-cycle recruiting with a focus on strong hiring manager partnership, clear and proactive communication, and consistent candidate advocacy.
  • Source and engage talent across technical disciplines with a primary emphasis on space vehicle hardware roles, including but not limited to mechanical, propulsion, electrical, and systems engineering.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance, following defined processes and escalating candidate concerns as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of active and passive talent to support near-term and future hiring needs.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date ATS data and support process excellence by meeting established SLAs without compromising quality.
  • Provide timely and accurate hiring progress updates to hiring teams and team leads.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates in Finance, Security, and People.
  • Represent True Anomaly professionally at career fairs, recruiting events, and networking opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience, with meaningful exposure to full-cycle or high-volume technical hiring.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and screening hardware engineering talent across job families such as mechanical, propulsion, electrical, and systems engineering.
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles concurrently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently on defined tasks while proactively communicating priorities, blockers, and status updates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to represent ideas clearly in both candidate-facing and internal contexts.
  • Organized and dependable, with a bias for action in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Receptive to feedback and coaching; brings solution ideas when identifying gaps or process challenges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience recruiting aerospace-specific hardware talent, such as mechanical, propulsion, electrical, or systems engineering for spacecrafts, rockets, interceptors, space stations, or related space systems.
  • Background in a high-growth technology startup, or aerospace, defense, or national security environment.
  • Familiarity hiring DoD-cleared talent (Secret or Top Secret).
  • Prior experience with Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or ClearanceJobs.

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $75,000-$100,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location: while we observe a hybrid work environment, you will need to be onsite as the business needs require. On an average week, you can expect to spend at least 4 days per week in office at our GravityWorks factory in Centennial, CO.
  • Travel: occasional travel to our other office locations and for hiring events.
  • Work environment: standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
