Job Description

This is not a traditional SaaS Customer Success role.

We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on experience in electronics procurement, component sourcing, commodity management, supply chain, or electronic manufacturing environments.

You may currently work for:

  • An OEM
  • EMS provider
  • Electronic component distributor
  • Component manufacturer
  • Procurement or strategic sourcing team
  • Supply chain or commodity management function

If you understand:

  • Component pricing volatility
  • Supplier negotiations
  • Lead times and allocation challenges
  • BOM cost pressures
  • Commodity management strategies
  • Electronic component sourcing challenges

We can teach you the SaaS and Customer Success side.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, advising customers, solving business problems, and influencing procurement strategy using data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities Account Ownership & Customer Success

  • Own a portfolio of accounts and be accountable for retention, growth, and customer health;
  • Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders, from tactical users to executive decision-makers;
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer business objectives;
  • Identify early warning signals (low usage, disengagement, value gaps) and take proactive action;
  • Lead onboarding and drive time-to-value for new customers.

Value Delivery & Industry Advisory

  • Leverage your electronics / procurement expertise to contextualize the data;
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for buyers and commodity managers;
  • Educate customers on market dynamics, pricing trends, and supplier behavior.

Commercial Ownership (Renewals & Upsells)

  • Own and lead renewal negotiations and contract discussions;
  • Identify and qualify upsell / expansion opportunities;
  • Build business cases and defend pricing with confidence;
  • Navigate complex organizations to identify decision-makers and buying processes.

Product Adoption & Enablement

  • Drive consistent platform usage and embed it into customer workflows;
  • Train users and promote best practices in data-driven procurement;
  • Gather structured customer feedback and influence product improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the voice of the customer internally.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering and Data teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
  • Escalate risks proactively and drive resolution on a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For

The most important requirement for this role is industry experience within electronic manufacturing procurement or supply chain.

We are far more interested in candidates who understand the electronics ecosystem than candidates coming purely from a traditional SaaS Customer Success background.

  • Component purchasing;
  • EMS, OEM, distributor, or manufacturer experience.

  • Understand how electronic components are sourced and negotiated;
  • Are comfortable discussing pricing, lead times, shortages, and supplier strategies;
  • Enjoy building relationships and influencing stakeholders;
  • Can communicate confidently with both operational teams and executives;
  • Are curious, analytical, and commercially minded;
  • Want to transition your industry expertise into a strategic, technology-driven role.

Customer-facing, account management, sales, or SaaS experience is considered an asset, but not a requirement.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in electronics procurement, sourcing, commodity management, supply chain, or related roles;
  • Experience within an OEM, EMS provider, electronic component distributor, or manufacturer strongly preferred;
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Electronics, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field;
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Comfortable learning technology platforms and working with data;
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to support global customers across time zones.

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
