Job Description
What You Will Do
- Be part of a content and curriculum design team focused on delivering high-quality Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and eLearning courseware.
- Participate in content analysis, design, and development of learning solutions aligned with new product releases.
- Create clear, concise learning content including chapter narratives, real-world examples, use cases, and guided lab exercises.
- Update course materials and simulators based on latest product releases in collaboration with lead curriculum developers and SMEs.
- Perform quality assurance (QA), lab testing, and validation of training content and simulators.
- Identify, document, and communicate testing issues or defects to relevant stakeholders.
- Revise and enhance content including screenshots, diagrams, formatting, and branding updates.
- Compile training materials (MS Word/PPT) into final deliverables such as PDFs.
- Manage LMS/LXP activities including course metadata, lifecycle, and administration.
- Incorporate QA feedback related to writing style, grammar, accessibility, and branding standards.
- Use internal tools/LLMs to generate summaries, perform quality checks, and analyze learner feedback.
- Test hands-on lab activities in sandbox environments and improve learner experience.
- Triage and resolve learner-reported content issues.
- Support migration of legacy content to modern tools and formats.
- Develop assessments, knowledge checks, and interactive learning components.
- Assist with video content editing (basic post-production tasks).
- Support lab environments by setting up ServiceNow data packages for releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, SMEs, instructors, and stakeholders.
- Assist in project management activities like scheduling, reporting, and tracking deliverables.
- Analyze course survey data and share insights with stakeholders.
Required Skills &
Experience
- 3 6 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, or technical training.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with Agile or rapid development methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with eLearning tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, SnagIt, or ScreenFlow.
- Strong attention to detail, QA mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in India night shift and align with US hours when required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multimedia, graphics, templates, and instructional design frameworks.
- Exposure to LMS/LXP platforms and course lifecycle management.
- Ability to leverage AI/LLM tools for content creation and analysis.
