Job Description
As a rapidly growing small business, we are seeking a C++ Developer to support quality engineering deliverables for the U.S. Navy, MSC, and U.S. Coast Guard. You will play a critical role in developing cross‐platform software solutions (Linux and Windows) across the full software lifecycle.

About the Role
This engineering group manages multiple concurrent projects, each with its own project lead and tasking requirements. The team is responsible for front‐end, middle‐layer architecture, and back‐end/database development, and you will be expected to contribute across all three.
Responsibilities
Develop cross‐platform C++ applications for Linux and Windows
Contribute to front‐end, middle‐layer, and back‐end/database components
Collaborate with project leads and team members across multiple active projects
Participate in code reviews and submit high‐quality pull requests
Support full software lifecycle activities, from design to deployment
Assist the PM in business development and customer relations
Expect up to 10% domestic and international travel
Requirements
A minimum of 1–5 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in C++ (or a C++‐like OOP language such as Java, C#, or D — C++ strongly preferred)
Experience with debugging tools
Ability to work across front‐end, middle‐layer, and back‐end components
Ability to interface professionally with clients
Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities
Ability to maintain or obtain a Secret security clearance
CompTIA Security+ certification (required due to elevated system privileges)
Nice‐to‐Have
Experience with Qt for cross‐platform UI development
Experience with Git
Experience with an IDE (Azure DevOps preferred)
Experience with database interaction
