Job Overview
We are hiring a full-time behind-the-scenes producer/editor to run the technical side of our daily livestream and help package content across platforms.
This is not a passive role. You will be responsible for making sure our show runs clean, looks professional, and improves over time.
Responsibilities
- Run a 2-hour daily livestream (switching, overlays, audio, visuals)
- Ensure broadcast quality (sound, lighting, framing, transitions)
- Clip and edit high-impact segments for YouTube, Shorts, and social
- Write titles, descriptions, create thumbnails and help package content
- Maintain and improve our studio and streaming setup
- Troubleshoot issues in real time without slowing the show down
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work
- Strong video editing and production skills (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
- Comfortable with streaming software (Ecamm, OBS, vMix, or similar)
- Technically capable. You understand audio, video, and computers
- Able to stay focused and perform under pressure during live shows
- High attention to detail. You care about making things look right
- Fast learner who takes ownership of their work
Bonus
- Understanding of YouTube growth, thumbnails, retention
- Experience clipping content for social media
- Interest in news, politics, or current events

Details
- Full-time, in-person (Kelowna)
- Typical hours: 8am – 4pm
- Compensation based on skill level, with potential upside
