Android + Kotlin Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Android Developer with 2 years of experience and a strong command of Kotlin to join our remote team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define features, and ensuring the best possible performance and responsiveness of the apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
• Collaborate: Work with UI/UX designers and product managers to ship new features.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices (MVVM/MVI).
• Maintenance: Fix bugs and improve application performance.
• Stay Updated: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Technical Requirements

• Kotlin Expertise: Deep understanding of Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, etc.).
• Android SDK: Proven experience with different versions of Android and handling various screen sizes.
• Architecture: Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
• Networking: Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Ktor.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git (GitHub/GitLab).
• UI/UX: Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and Jetpack Compose is a big plus.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Exactly or around 2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Remote Discipline: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Problem Solving: A proactive approach to debugging and optimization.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
