Job Title: Phlebotomist – Thyrocare Collection Center

Location: Ghatkopar West, Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our Thyrocare Collection Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other clinical samples, ensuring proper sample handling, maintaining hygiene standards, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary methods.
• Label, process, and prepare samples accurately for dispatch to the laboratory.
• Ensure proper sample storage and transportation as per Thyrocare guidelines.
• Maintain patient records and collection logs.
• Follow infection control protocols and universal safety precautions.
• Assist patients during sample collection and address their concerns professionally.
• Conduct home sample collections when required.
• Monitor inventory of collection supplies and report shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection center.
• Ensure compliance with NABL and laboratory quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent qualification.
• Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sample collection and patient handling.
• Freshers with relevant training may also apply.
• Knowledge of sample handling, labeling, and transportation procedures.

Skills Required

• Excellent venipuncture and blood collection skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for patient registration and reporting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
