New Product Development Engineer

DESIGNATION: NPD AND COSTING ENGINEER

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENC: EB.Tech with 3 years in CNC & VMC DOMAIN ENVIRONMENT.

SKILL REQUIRED: COSTING,NPD, APQP,TOOL SELECTION & PROVING, PFD.JOB

DESCRIPTION

1.Able to prepare Costing for Machining items.

2.Lead the process development activities (flowchart, process design reviews, process optimization, process design, validation of new and existing products, logistics, manufacturing sequence)

3.Ensure all necessary product information (PFMEA, Control Plan, process flow charts, instruction sheets, etc) are current and readily available

4.Develop and execute plans to qualify internal manufacturing operations and/or external suppliers in order to meet new product introduction fulfillment and quality

5.Improving current manufacturing processes (reduction of rejects, downtimes)

6.Identify capital, expense and resource needs to execute projects

7.Serve as an Expert Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management and suppliers to optimize cost competitiveness and manufacturability

8.Precision Machining Technology (Milling, Turning, ), 4-Axis Milling CAM programming, High / Low Volume Automation

9.Strong technical background covering Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing, or Engineering

10.Provide technical guidance and solutions to optimize cost competitiveness, quality excellence, and cycle time leadership across the full product lifecycle

11.Implementation of new production equipment and operator training to meet standards and final sign-off requirements

12.Develop concepts that include specification of equipment and make recommendations for the technical selection of purchased equipment

13.Employ lean manufacturing principles to optimise effectiveness of the manufacturing operations to ensure competitive pricing

14.Serve in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, and suppliers to optimize cost competitiveness and manufacturability

15.Cultivate proficiency in Critical Thinking & Problem Solving.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 per month
