Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Mental Health Counselor at TherapyMantra. The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions via secure video and chat, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs. Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, managing ongoing cases, and documenting sessions in accordance with ethical and regulatory guidelines. The counselor will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team when needed, provide crisis support within established protocols, and guide clients in using platform-based resources such as self-help tools and meditation content. The role also involves maintaining professional boundaries, attending supervision or team meetings virtually, and staying current with best practices in online mental health care.

Qualifications

Clinical expertise in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to work with diverse client populations and presenting concerns.

Skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to assess needs, set goals, track progress, and coordinate care effectively.

Experience in Relationship Counseling, including work with couples, families, and interpersonal dynamics.

Relevant master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

Current licensure or certification as a mental health professional in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.

Strong communication, active listening, and empathy skills, with a commitment to ethical, client-centered care.

Comfort with telehealth platforms, secure digital documentation, and remote work in a flexible, global environment.

Experience with cross-cultural counseling, multilingual abilities, or prior online therapy work is highly beneficial.
