Position Summary

We are seeking energetic, customer-focused Bar Staff to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our hospitality team, you will provide exceptional beverage service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

This position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently during high-volume events.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol service.
  • Operate POS systems and process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, opening, and closing duties.
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, managers, and event staff.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members when assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation.
  • Experience operating POS systems and handling cash accurately.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Reliable transportation to event locations.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent alcohol certification (preferred but not required).
  • Experience working festivals, weddings, corporate events, stadiums, or banquet operations.
  • Experience with high-volume beverage service.
