Job Description: TD Securities Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) provides a full range of financial advisory and capital-raising services to corporate and institutional clients. Within CIB, Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a core business delivering payments and liquidity management, trade and working capital finance, and financial institutions coverage across TD’s global footprint. GTB clients are large public companies or the subsidiaries of multi-nationals. The Business Management function within CIB plays a critical role in enabling business performance—providing strategic, operational, and governance support to senior leadership and partnering closely with teams across the platform. Role Overview We are seeking a senior leader within GTB Business Management to act as a strategic and operational partner to the Head of GTB, helping to shape and deliver on the business agenda. This role offers the opportunity to work at the center of the GTB platform, drive change through support of the Transaction Banking Value Creation Plan (VCP), and enhance connectivity across teams, and supporting continued growth. The VCP is a partnership between TD Securities, TD's commercial banking businesses in Canada and the US, Operations, Technology and Enterprise Payments. TD aspires to be a Top 10 North American Treasury bank of choice for our Corporate, Institutional, and Commercial clients generating operational deposits and fee growth through exceptional products, client service and seamless capabilities. VCP is a multi-year digital transformation and expansion of GTB's product suite to position the transaction bank as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider. The role will report to the Head, Global Business Management for Corporate and Investment Banking, with a close partnership with Heads of GTB and VCP. Key Accountabilities Strategic Partnership Partner closely with the Head of GTB, as a trusted advisor, and contributor to shaping strategy, priorities, and operating plans Translate strategic objectives into clear, executable initiatives with strong follow-through Provide insight and challenge to support decision-making and prioritization; eliminate obstacles and resolve issues Oversee management information reporting by helping to define key reporting metrics that support business growth, in concert with business leaders Business Performance & Financial Management Business lead on financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for GTB in partnership with Finance team Provide transparency on performance, drivers, and risks/opportunities Support disciplined expense and client profitability management Execution & Operating Discipline Drive operating rhythms, governance, and prioritization across GTB Lead cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives Support a scalable and efficient operating model aligned to CIB Connectivity Across Teams Strengthen connectivity between GTB origination, Product, and VCP teams Leverage deep knowledge and understanding of CIB, GM, Operations, Technology, TD executives and organizational practices to support operationalizing the Transaction Banking VCP Align priorities across teams and remove execution friction Enhance coordination to support seamless client delivery Team Leadership & Development Support resource planning and organizational effectiveness Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment Maintain strong partnerships with Global Business Management, Product Factory Business Enablement team and leverage Centers of Excellence for work efficiency Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate across CIB, TDBG functions, and enterprise partners Support executive materials, updates, and communications Experience & Skills 7-10 years of experience in COO office, business management, strategy, or similar leadership roles within financial services Understanding of transaction banking and/or CIB businesses Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in a matrix environment Who We Are: TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
