Job Description: Within TD's Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (AI2), our team supports the Global Security and Defense Reporting Factory (GSDRF) by delivering trusted business intelligence solutions. Our mission is to provide governed reporting and actionable insights that help stakeholders monitor risk, performance, exceptions, and operational outcomes, in partnership with data teams, business stakeholders, and governance partners. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst III with strong business intelligence development skills, solid data modelling knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into clear dashboards, reporting packages, and actionable insights. Key Accountabilities: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reporting packages, and ad-hoc analysis for GSDRF stakeholders. Partner with data teams, business stakeholders, and governance partners to gather requirements, clarify success criteria, and deliver practical BI solutions. Support data preparation, validation, modelling, and transformation using SQL, Power Query, DAX, and approved enterprise tools. Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, governed, well documented, and aligned to GSDRF standards and Power BI best practices. Develop concise commentary and insights to explain trends, variances, risks, and key observations for technical and non-technical audiences. Manage assigned deliverables independently, escalating risks, dependencies, and issues as needed. Core Skill Sets: Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, report design, publishing, and performance considerations. Working knowledge of SQL, relational data structures, semantic models, and governed reporting layers. Ability to create clean, intuitive, and actionable visualizations that follow usability, accessibility, and data storytelling best practices. Strong attention to data quality, validation, documentation, and audit-ready reporting practices. Collaborative communicator with the ability to work across business, analytics, data, and governance teams. Active adopter of Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted productivity tools to support BI delivery, documentation, quality checks, and stakeholder communications. Organized, accountable, curious, and results-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset. Job Requirements: 2-3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or data visualization. Undergraduate degree or advanced technical education preferred in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical discipline. Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, measures, and reporting packages that support business decision making. Experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation; familiarity with SQL Server, Azure, Databricks, Python, or PySpark is an asset. Experience supporting risk, security, compliance, operations, technology, or control-based reporting environments is an asset. Knowledge of Tableau, dashboard migration from Tableau to Power BI, or Microsoft Power Apps/low-code workflow solutions is good to have. Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst certification, or equivalent Power BI certification, is considered an asset.
