Job Description
About Us
The Resilient Group is an established and scaling multi-company holding group with a portfolio spanning Technology / SaaS, Retail / E-commerce, and beyond. We believe AI is the most powerful tool available to modern businesses, and we're putting that belief into action — leveraging cutting-edge AI to solve real problems, build innovative products, and drive meaningful outcomes across our portfolio companies.
We're not just adopting AI as a trend — we're rebuilding how our businesses operate from the ground up with AI at the centre. This is an exciting time to join us as we accelerate our AI-native transformation and scale the platforms that power our group.
About the Role
We are building a fully AI-native development organisation, and we're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to sit at the centre of it. This isn't a traditional engineering role — it's a hybrid between a senior engineer, a technical architect, and an AI workflow orchestrator. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining the processes, pipelines, and standards that allow our team to ship high-quality web and app platforms at pace, using AI coding tools as the primary development engine.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Powered Development & Orchestration
- Design, implement, and continuously improve an AI-first development lifecycle — from ideation and scaffolding through to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Serve as the internal authority on how AI coding tools are prompted, structured, and integrated into each phase of the SDLC.
- Build and maintain project configuration files, system prompts, and context documents that enable AI tools to produce consistent, high-quality output across all projects.
- Develop reusable prompting patterns, templates, and playbooks for common development tasks (feature builds, refactors, bug fixes, code reviews, migrations).
Full Stack Engineering
- Architect and deliver scalable web and mobile app platforms across the full stack (frontend, backend, APIs, databases, infrastructure).
- Establish and enforce technology standards, frameworks, and coding conventions that work well within an AI-native workflow.
- Conduct code reviews on AI-generated output, catching issues with logic, security, performance, and maintainability before they reach production.
- Own the integration layer between AI-generated code and production systems.
Pipeline & DevOps
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines optimised for AI-assisted development workflows.
- Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) that validate AI-generated code reliably.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) and ensure deployments are automated, repeatable, and auditable.
- Monitor production systems and feed learnings back into development workflows and prompting strategies.
Team Enablement & Process Design
- Define the team's AI coding workflow standards — how tasks are broken down, how context is passed to AI tools, how output is reviewed and merged.
- Mentor and upskill team members on effective AI-assisted development practices.
- Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution, translating product goals into well-structured development briefs for AI coding tools.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI development tooling as the ecosystem evolves.
Required Experience & Skills
Technical
- 5+ years of professional full stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong backend skills in one or more of: Node.js, Python, Go, or similar.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including serverless, containers (Docker/Kubernetes),and managed services.
AI-Native Development
- Demonstrated experience working with AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar in a production setting.
- Strong ability to write effective prompts and structure context for AI coding assistants — you know how to get high-quality, consistent output.
- Understanding of how to review, validate, and refactor AI-generated code at scale.
- Comfort working in an environment where AI generates the majority of code and the human role is architectural, review-focused, and quality-driven.
Soft Skills
- Excellent written communication — you can document processes, write clear technical briefs, and create onboarding materials.
- Strong systems thinking — you can design workflows and processes, not just write code.
- High ownership mindset — comfortable driving decisions independently.
- Adaptable and curious, with a genuine enthusiasm for the frontier of AI-assisted engineering.
Nice to Have
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
