Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Restaurant Worker role located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Restaurant Worker will support day-to-day operations, including preparing ingredients, cooking menu items such as burgers and pizza, and assembling orders to restaurant standards. Responsibilities include providing friendly customer service at the counter, taking orders, answering questions about the menu, and handling payments accurately. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, following food safety and hygiene guidelines, replenishing stock, and assisting with opening and closing tasks as needed. Team members work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Food Preparation and Cooking tasks safely and efficiently, preferably in a fast-paced or fast food environment.
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional, courteous manner.
• Comfort working in a fast food or quick-service setting, with the ability to handle peak times calmly and effectively.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and cleanliness standards in a restaurant environment.
• Reliability in attendance, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work well in a team, follow instructions, and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
• Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada and basic numeracy skills for handling cash and POS systems.
