About the position

The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking an Agricultural Technician 1 located at Alice L. Finley Memorial Center, a 133 acre research and teaching farm, located outside West Jefferson, Ohio. The Agricultural Technician 1 samples and analyzes soils and forages; harvests alfalfa, hay and straw; feeds, waters and cares for livestock; assists with maintaining animal and equipment records; cleans stalls, barns and pastures; transports animals to and from Finley Farm to Veterinary Teaching Hospital; operates and services vehicles and farm equipment; and maintains buildings and lots. Some weekends and holidays will be required.
