Logistics Manager (Inventory, Warehousing & Transportation)
Location: Columbia, MD or Texas (San Antonio, Dallas, Austin)
Travel: Regular travel across North America
The Opportunity
This is not a transport-only logistics role.
This position is focused on inventory control, warehousing strategy, and multi-site operations within a growing, project-driven environment supporting large-scale delivery programs.
As manufacturing becomes more integrated and projects scale, the organization is experiencing increased pressure on:
- Inventory accuracy and control
- Storage capacity and site readiness
- Working capital and material risk
- Coordination between factory output and project delivery
This role is responsible for bringing structure, control, and visibility across that entire system.
What You’ll Do
- Own inventory accuracy and control across multiple sites
- Lead cycle counting, audit readiness, and stock governance
- Standardize warehouse and inventory processes across locations
- Develop regional warehousing strategies, including 3PL and temporary storage solutions
- Align manufacturing output with site/project delivery timelines
- Improve inventory turns, reduce excess, and minimize risk
- Support transportation and delivery alignment (secondary to inventory & warehousing focus)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience owning inventory control across multiple sites
- Strong background in manufacturing, industrial, or complex operations environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- Inventory accuracy
- Cycle counting
- Warehouse operations
- Experience working with Finance (inventory value, audits, working capital)
- Exposure to 3PL or warehousing networks
- Ability to influence across teams without direct authority

- Warehouse supervisors without multi-site ownership
