Role Description

This part-time position is for an on-site Casual Overnight Nurse located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The nurse will be responsible for providing overnight medical care and support, monitoring patient progress, administering medications, and responding to any medical emergencies. They will collaborate with the treatment team to ensure client safety and uphold the highest standard of care in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in monitoring patient health, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies
• Strong skills in patient care, communication, and building rapport with individuals undergoing treatment
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while adhering to established care standards
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification in good standing
• Experience in mental health, addiction treatment, or residential care is an asset
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethics in care
• First Aid and CPR certification
