Junior Front-End Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Web Pages: Build responsive and interactive web pages and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with Designers: Work with the design team to implement visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring the designs are properly translated into functional web pages
• Write Clean Code: Maintain clean, readable, and efficient code, following best practices and web standards
• Optimize Web Performance: Ensure fast load times and a smooth user experience by optimizing code and assets (images, CSS, JavaScript)
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure websites work consistently across various browsers and devices
• Bug Fixing and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and fix bugs, issues, or inconsistencies in front-end code
• Version Control: Use Git for version control and collaborate with the development team on code changes
• Stay Up-to-Date: Keep learning new web technologies, best practices, and industry trends to improve your skills

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Basic experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (1-2 years of experience or relevant coursework/projects)
• Understanding of responsive web design principles and how to implement them
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, NPM/Yarn)
• Some experience with version control using Git
• A keen eye for detail, especially with layouts, typography, and spacing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in front-end development
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
• Exposure to front-end JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js
• Experience with CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS
• Understanding of basic web performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and how to implement them in web design
• Knowledge of basic SEO principles for optimizing front-end code
• Experience working with API integration in front-end development
