Chemours is seeking a Life Cycle Analyst to join our team. This position will be available in our Wilmington, DE location.
This role is well suited for an early career professional interested in building deep technical expertise in life cycle assessment (LCA) and product carbon footprint (PCF) while working closely with experienced practitioners on rigorous, standards based assessments. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will support the execution of product level assessments, carbon footprint calculations, and related deliverables across all Chemours products.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collect, validate, and organize life cycle inventory (LCI) data and supporting documentation.
- Support the execution of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations under senior guidance.
- Build and update LCA and PCF models using industry‑standard software tools.
- Contribute to technical reports, calculation summaries, data visualizations, and other deliverables.
- Support internal quality control processes and respond to data requests.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams and participate in ongoing technical training and methodology development.
The Following Is Required For This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field
- 0–3+ years of experience in LCA, carbon footprinting, sustainability analytics, or environmental consulting
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with attention to detail and data quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies
The Following Is Preferred For This Role
- Coursework or internship exposure to environmental assessment.
- Familiarity with LCA software (SimaPro, OpenLCA, etc.)
- Experience with Excel, data visualization, or basic programming (Python/R).
- Knowledge of ESG or environmental standards (eg., ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol).
