Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst – Structures Workplace Coach to support the Skill Enhancement Center for the 777X program in Berkeley, MO.
As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Skill Enhancement team. You will maintain positive relationships with multi-function team leaders and drive a deep understanding of the Boeing Production System principles and standards, production health, and problem solving.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Analyzes and interprets data
- Provides feedback on assessment results
- Serve as the on floor structures subject matter expert (SME) who enables rapid skills transfer through hands on coaching rather than formal classroom instruction
- Observe technicians during live repairs and maintenance to identify skill gaps, unsafe work practices, and opportunities for efficiency or quality improvement
- Provide targeted, just in time coaching and mentoring to technicians on sheet metal, fastener installation, bonding, corrosion repair, and related structural tasks
- Contribute to root cause investigations for recurring structural issues and help define practical corrective and preventive actions at the workplace level
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Ensure all coaching activities align with Boeing quality systems, regulatory requirements, and site safety procedures; model human factors and a safety first mindset
- Works under general direction
- Ensure that all training and coaching activities are documented in accordance with applicable procedures and standards
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience with assembly and structures manufacturing
- 5+ years of experience with drilling and/or precision drilling
- 5+ years of experience in metalworking, specifically working with hand finishing and deburring to ensure high-quality parts
- 5+ years of experience in Structural assembly with an emphasis on match drilling aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
- 5+ years of experience working with detail and assembly parts
- Experience with composite and metal structures
- Experience coaching in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Experience with commercial derivatives, Boeing Commercial Aircraft products or military platforms
- Experience do you have with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)

Summary pay range: $$90,050 – $123,050
