Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic candidate to work as a Case Manager/ Residential Social Worker at Kovalam, an Emergency Care and Recovery Center for homeless women with mental illness. The profile involves:
- Critical time interventions (rescue) mental illness Clinical social work - interventions to help gain independence in care of self, activities of daily living and improving domains of functionality Case management Individual counselling and problem
- Solving Facilitating work and engagement Options - within the facility or mainstream Social entitlements facilitation.
- Identity documents, financial inclusion, pensions and other state welfare schemes
- Assist in accessing leisure and recreational activities
- Coordinate human Rights Cell and Legal Aid Services
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduates in Social Work (preferably Medical and Psychiatry) with an exceptional drive to work with people.
- Minimum 3-5 yrs of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in more than one Indian language may be an added advantage.
- The position requires residential work option and hence the candidate must be willing for this.
- Preferred Industry experience: NGO, Social Services, Regulators, Industry Associations.
