We're building a place where designers, founders, creatives, and builders come together to create products, share ideas, challenge conventional thinking, and build businesses that matter.

Alongside our agency work, we're launching a design collective, a podcast, educational content, community events, and collaborative initiatives that bring together ambitious people who believe design can shape the future.

Looking for a Design Co-Founder who wants to help build that vision from day one.

About the Role

This isn't a traditional design position.

We're looking for someone who naturally inspires people, enjoys meaningful conversations, loves building communities, and believes design is about solving problems—not just making things beautiful.

You'll become a public face of The Abstract Idea, helping shape our creative direction, grow our community, host conversations, and build a culture people genuinely want to be part of.

What You'll Help Build

The Design Collective

• Grow and nurture an engaged community of designers, founders, developers, and creatives.
• Create opportunities for collaboration and mentorship.
• Help define what our community stands for and how it feels.

The Podcast

• Co-host thoughtful conversations.
• Interview designers, founders, product leaders, researchers, artists, and entrepreneurs.
• Develop themes, discussion topics, and storytelling ideas.
• Help build a recognizable voice for the brand.

Creative Direction

• Shape the visual and creative identity of our collective.
• Collaborate on campaigns, events, and content.
• Contribute ideas for workshops, talks, and creative initiatives.

Community & Events

• Organize design meetups, portfolio reviews, networking events, and online sessions.
• Build relationships within the local and global design community.
• Create experiences that people look forward to attending.

Content

• Create engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, newsletters, and blogs.
• Share design insights, behind-the-scenes work, industry perspectives, and founder journeys.
• Help turn conversations into meaningful educational content.

Agency & Product Work

• Collaborate on client projects.
• Participate in product strategy and design.
• Contribute to research, workshops, and design thinking sessions.
• Help maintain a high standard of craft across everything we create.
