The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, Texas A&M – Fort Worth and the Texas A&M - RELLIS Campus. Job Description Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Facilities Administration, the Project Administrator is responsible for administrative and business operations support including department operation, processes, coordination, and management of campus-wide Real Estate and Facilities activities.

Responsibilities:

- Provides program task management support in operations maintenance, construction, and renovation of campus infrastructure such as finance, document records, archiving, procurement, workflow, and compliance.

- Prepares department process maps, program user guides and presentation materials such as workflow creation, source referencing and document writing.

- Supports administrative and operational functions for enterprise and Integrated Workplace Management Systems.

- Directly monitors the development and management of FAs' special projects, research, activities, and schedules.

- Assists in the oversight of the Real Estate and Facilities functional programs compliance and implementation issues related to budget, procurement, and contract management.

- Conducts research, audits, and prepares analytical schedules and reports regarding the responsibilities of FA functional programs.

- Liaises and coordinates with related departments Coordinates office workflows, provides administrative support and assists with staff development and training.

- Addresses common process questions and issues.

- Reviews projects and contracts for compliance and takes appropriate actions to resolve discrepancies.

- Assists in the preparation of progress reports for the Board of Regents.

- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Four years of related experience in essential duties and responsibilities. ​

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Knowledge of project management, workflow creation, and process mapping.

- Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships.

- Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

- Ability to research, analyze and solve problems.

- Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume.

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven experience working in a real estate and facilities environment
- Proven experience working in a higher-education environment
