$18.00 per hour

The Role at a Glance

The Groundskeeper, under supervision, will perform ground maintenance including mowing, weed eating, brush clearing, and trash pick-up. The Groundskeeper will also assist full-time employees with assigned FMC tasks including but not limited to class clean-up such as cleaning the lunchroom, removing hay from hay-burning projects, and equipment storage. The Groundskeeper may be required to assist other programs such as Industrial, SCBA, Mechanics, and Extinguishers with facilities/class operations. This is a part-time position.

This position reports to the Construction Foreman.

Qualifications of the Role

  • High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six months of related experience in grounds maintenance.
  • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Equivalency: Will consider a degree from an accredited college or university in lieu of experience.
