2) Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Toronto, ON(Hybrid)(3 days a week)

• Critical Skillsets:
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React.
• Experience with compliance-driven engineering (e.g., SailPoint role-based access).

Core Technical Requirements (Across Team)

• Languages: Expert TypeScript (Backend-for-Frontend & UI logic); React
• Data & Messaging: GraphQL (GQL) for notification context; GCS for fact rendering
• Observability: Splunk and New Relic (configuring alerts, smoke checks, and monitoring application health)
• Excluded: No Scala development is required for these roles.

Prioritized Candidate Attributes

• "Contract-First" Mentality: Engineers who prioritize explicit schema definitions over "tribal knowledge."
• Systems Thinking: Ability to understand how an Authoring UI field change impacts upstream Discovery or Batch Recsys systems.

AI Documentation Experience: Familiarity with using AI tools to ingest and summarize technical documentation is a significant plus for the "Scribe" role.
