About the Role
Tessell is looking for a senior content and brand storyteller to own our editorial voice across every surface - from long-form thought leadership to LinkedIn to executive collaboration. You'll work at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales to build content that earns attention, drives inbound, and positions Tessell as the definitive voice in database infrastructure.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing, who's based in Bangalore, India.
What You'll Own
- Content strategy and editorial calendar across blogs, whitepapers, guides, and social
- Industry research and reports - owning Tessell's annual or quarterly research publications; these serve as top-of-funnel brand anchors and PR assets
- LinkedIn channel management - organic posts, campaigns, and community engagement
- Executive social media - ghostwriting/ collaborating with Tessell's founders and leadership team
- Brand voice and consistency across all marketing outputs
- Coordination with PMMs to build launch content and customer storytelling assets
- Content pipeline for the Tessell podcast and events (show notes, clips, distribution)
- UTM discipline and content attribution reporting in HubSpot
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years in B2B content marketing, ideally in SaaS, infrastructure, or cloud
- Experience owning industry research or thought leadership reports - from methodology through to go-to-market; knows how to turn data into a narrative that earns coverage
- Strong writer who can move fluently between technical and executive audiences
- Experience ghostwriting/ collaborating with senior leaders - discretion and voice-matching ability essential
- Hands-on with LinkedIn organic strategy - not just posting, but growing
- Comfortable with HubSpot or equivalent for content tracking and lead attribution
- Self-directed, able to manage a calendar and deliver without hand-holding
- Bonus: experience in database, cloud infra, or DevOps categories

- Inbound traffic from organic and social referral
- Executive social reach and engagement
- Content contribution to pipeline (UTM-tracked)
