Job Description

We are seeking an AI Engineer with a strong software engineering background to join our Cognition Product Team. This role focuses on designing, architecting, and delivering NextGen AI-driven solutions for diverse clients across industries. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs, design scalable production-ready systems, and leverage the latest in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and related emerging technologies. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing code, designing architectures, and engaging in high-level client discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the development of high-quality AI and software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Participate in system architecture and technical design decisions to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with client requirements.
• Engage with clients to understand technical needs and business goals, providing expert guidance on AI adoption and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and promote technical excellence within the team.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other engineers to meet technical milestones and deliver successful projects.
• Ensure code quality and reliability through testing, optimization, and proactive issue identification.
• Stay current with AI research, frameworks, and industry trends to bring innovative solutions into client engagements.

Basic Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with expertise in JavaScript (Node.js/React), Python, or C#/.NET.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Meta LLaMA).
• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
• Experience building cloud-native AI solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integrating AI services into enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in data pipelines, API integration, vector databases, and AI orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of system design, security, and scalability principles.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Prior consulting or professional services experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into enterprise business workflows.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI model lifecycle management.
• Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or tools.
• Certifications in Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or AI/ML specialties.
