Job Description

Tekvaly is looking for a Blockchain Developer in Canada for its client. Whether you're a smart contract specialist, a full-stack developer moving into Web3, or a security-focused engineer, if you're passionate about blockchain, we want to hear from you!

Who We are

Tekvaly is a diversified global software staffing and consulting company that gives both offshore and onshore technical solutions to business enterprises. Our mission is to enable superior returns on clients’ technology investments through best-in-class industry solutions, domain expertise and global scale. We feel deeply connected to our customers, and therefore our success isn’t just a matter of our bottom line, but a reflection of how our customers flourish, and how their communities thrive. We strive to understand our customers’ individual needs so that we can develop products and services that enhance their livelihoods. Our customers are our partners, and when we rise, we rise together.

As a Blockchain Developer, you will build secure decentralized applications across EVM chains. You'll work on smart contracts, dApps, and the infrastructure that connects them.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test smart contracts using Solidity on EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain).
  • Own the full lifecycle from architecture through mainnet deployment and post-launch monitoring.
  • Build or integrate with decentralized applications using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
  • Conduct thorough security analyses using static analyzers (Slither, Mythril, Echidna) and fuzzing techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, frontend, protocol economics) in an Agile environment.
  • Conduct code reviews with a focus on security, maintainability, and gas optimization.
  • Document technical specifications, developer guides, and stay current with the latest trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in blockchain development with a focus on Solidity and smart contracts on EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain).
  • Strong understanding of EVM internals, smart contract design patterns (upgradeability, access control), and common security vulnerabilities (reentrancy, front-running, oracle manipulation).
  • Experience with development and testing frameworks such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle, including experience writing comprehensive test suites.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols (lending platforms, DEXes, stablecoins, or oracles) and familiarity with cross-chain interoperability concepts.
  • Knowledge of security auditing practices with hands-on experience using tools like Slither, Mythril, or Echidna, or participation in bug bounty programs.
  • Familiarity with non-EVM chains (Solana, Polkadot, or Hyperledger) or contributions to open-source blockchain projects is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.

Soft Skills We Like to See

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.

Accommodations will be provided on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of our recruitment and selection process.

We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those selected will be contacted.
