Base Operations Manager with Security Clearance

Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Lead all on‑site contractor personnel and manage readiness, training, schedules, conflict resolution, and day‑to‑day team oversight.

Coordinate all shared Tier 2 operational activities with the Communications Squadron and the Communications Focal Point and escalate Tier 3 matters to the Operations Engineering Lead.

Prepare and deliver upgrade and proficiency training for Communications Squadron personnel for both legacy and modernized network environments.

Tailor training programs provided by the PMO Operations Manager to meet base‑specific operational, facility, and mission needs.

Coordinate with Civil Engineering, Safety, Environmental offices, and Security Forces for access, compliance, and safety requirements.

Manage base‑level operational schedules including maintenance windows, cutovers, change execution, and restoration activities.

Ensure operational execution conforms with engineering baselines, approved procedures, and mission constraints.

Maintain privileged access rosters and ensure compliance with all base access and authorization controls.

Validate AMF and IUID asset records and provide accurate inputs for SLA and performance reporting.

Provide daily operational updates to the PMO Operations Manager and coordinate with the Infrastructure Deployment Manager to deconflict modernization and operational activities.

Enforce safety, OPSEC, and base access requirements for all on‑site personnel.

Identify and escalate operational risks early and coordinate mitigation actions with PMO and Communications Squadron leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Seven (7) years experience leading on‑site technical teams and field personnel Seven (7) years experience IT Service Management Incident response/Incident Management Expertise DoD 8140 IAT II baseline certification such as Security Plus CE.

Ability to manage a twenty‑four hour on‑call rotation.

Must have an active Secret clearance CERTIFICATIONS DoD 8140 IAT II baseline certification such as Security Plus CE.
