IAM Data Engineer

TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for an IAM Data Engineer

Pay Rate Range: $65-81

Job Description

This is a 6 month contract located in Scarborough, ON/ Hybrid (2 days/ week)

Must-have requirements:

• 10 years of experience with data engineering tools (SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling).
• 3-4 years of experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle concepts.
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Active Directory, ServiceNow, and enterprise identity data structures.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, RBAC, and identity governance.
• Experience with large‑scale MFA, VPN rollouts or identity migrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra reporting, Graph API, and identity insights.

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Architecture, AD, GTEP, LAM, QA, and application teams.
• Excellent communication skills for working with global user groups and supporting MFA adoption.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior technical teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field or relevant experience.

Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, or IAM‑related credentials an asset
