Rust Developer

Job Title: Rust Backend Developer Experience: 7+ Years Location: Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Rust Backend Developer to build and optimize scalable APIs while collaborating with AI research teams. This role involves hands-on backend development along with testing and evaluating AI-powered developer tools in real-world coding workflows. Key Responsibilities Design and develop REST & GraphQL APIs using Rust Ensure data validation, error handling, and API security best practices Manage database schema design, migrations, and performance tuning Test AI models using tools like Cursor and provide detailed feedback Participate in intensive testing cycles (4-day bursts) Report bugs with logs, traces, and screenshots Collaborate with research teams via Slack and contribute insights Required Skills 7+ years of backend development experience with strong Rust expertise Experience in REST & GraphQL API development Strong understanding of backend architecture, validation, and security Hands-on with database design, migrations, and optimization Experience using AI coding tools (Cursor preferred) Excellent communication and documentation skills
