Manager / Corporate Quality Leader – Automotive

We are seeking a proven automotive quality leader to drive enterprise-wide quality across multiple manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Canada. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape quality strategy, lead a corporate QA team, and serve as the key voice of quality for both customers and suppliers.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the Corporate QA function across all sites
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Drive product quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee supplier quality, audits, and performance improvement
• Act as the primary customer quality contact, managing escalations with confidence

Why This Role

Timing is ideal to onboard, build relationships, and prepare for upcoming IATF audits (Sept–Dec) and a major product launch in October. You’ll have the runway to assess operations and make meaningful impact.

What You Bring (Must-Have)

• Deep automotive industry experience is required (non-automotive backgrounds will not be considered)
• 10+ years in quality, including 5+ years in automotive quality leadership
• Strong working knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, 8D, Control Plans, and IATF audits
• Proven ability to lead across multiple sites and influence suppliers
• Confident communicator—able to engage executives and shop floor teams alike
• Experience navigating supplier challenges and driving resolution

Additional Details

• Travel required (U.S. & Canada) for site visits and supplier engagement
• Degree required; certifications (CQM, VDA, IATF Lead Auditor) are a plus
• Experience with Class A surface products is an asset
