Foreman - Low Voltage Security System Technician - Hi-Rise

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect our organization's infrastructure and data. Your expertise in telecommunication systems, computer hardware, and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our organization.

Duties

• Install and Program security, cctv, intrusion alarm, access control, A/V, home automation and networking systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security measures into all aspects of the organization's infrastructure
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

-Lead a project from beginning to completion

Requirements

· Experienced with CCTV - Hikvision, Avigilon, Axis, etc.,

· Experienced with Access Control - ICT, Salto, Lenel, Avigilon, RBH, etc.

· Experienced with Enterphones and Intercoms - Mircom, Aiphone, etc.

· Experienced with Home Automation – Control4, Lutron, Crestron, etc.

· Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and efficiently.

· Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism

· Complete detailed and accurate documentation and paperwork.

· Must be able to read construction drawings.

· In-depth knowledge of telecommunication systems, computer hardware, and electrical systems

· Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading

· Strong understanding of network protocols and security standards

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

· Experienced with Audio systems – Control4, Crestron, Crown, etc

· Experienced with Networking – Unifi, D-link, Cisco, etc

· Provide customer with professional training for proper usage of the systems.

Required license or certification:

· Driver License (Clear Driving Record)

• Clean Criminal Record
