Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Production Engineer at TechnipFMC, you will be responsible for managing the Assembly and Test scope within the Manufacturing Engineering function. Your role involves participating in engineering solutions following TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget. Your continuous focus will be on quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth execution of production processes by creating manufacturing packages in collaboration with the Industrial Engineer and Lead engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure safe and efficient production following DFx methodology and Safe System of Work standards.
  • Assist in creating production documentation such as assembly & test procedures, work instructions, and routings under supervision.
  • Collaborate with various teams including Manufacturing and Design to ensure successful production outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain standard routings per module and product families to control costs effectively.
  • Create specifications for shop tools and update user documents based on 1st Article findings.
  • Support daily production needs by resolving flow disruptions and participating in problem-solving events.
  • Assist in Quality Notification disposition and implementation where required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the Oil and Gas manufacturing industry with a focus on Assembly and Test.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production documentation, and routing.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Service/customer oriented.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of CAD/CAM (NX), PLM Systems (TCE), and ERP Systems (SAP).
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
