Role Summary
We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on a client’s platform engineering initiative focused on monorepo management, CI/CD scalability, and developer productivity. You will collaborate with distributed engineering teams to design and maintain reliable DevOps systems supporting large-scale product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive CI/CD strategy to improve build speed, scalability, and developer efficiency.
- Design, implement, and maintain modular CI/CD pipelines with strong automated QA coverage.
- Lead build, integration, deployment, and release processes across multiple projects.
- Manage and maintain monorepo architecture, including dependency consistency and package publishing.
- Monitor pipeline performance and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Establish DevOps best practices and promote a strong DevOps culture across teams.
- Provide architectural guidance for developer tools and platform engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Must-Have Skills
- At least 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as CloudBees, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.
- Extensive experience working with monorepos at scale.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using NodeJS and Shell.
- Experience using monorepo management tools such as Nx.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience working with AWS infrastructure and services.
- Proficiency with front-end testing tools such as Playwright.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience building and maintaining platform-centric engineering projects.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
