Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, and faster release cycles.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to support application deployment, automation, and performance optimization.
- Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and environments.
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Maintain proper documentation of infrastructure, processes, and workflows. Support production deployments and provide operational support as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
- Experience in software development lifecycle and continuous integration practices.
- Solid system administration experience with a strong focus on Linux operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good To Have / Preferred Skills
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent. Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
