Job Description – Assistant Manager – IT Infrastructure & Security

Location: Ahmedabad

Joining time : Immediate to 15 days

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – IT to oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, cloud environment, networking, and information security operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and vendor coordination. The role requires ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance of the company's IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and data center operations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems.
• Monitor system health, capacity planning, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

Network Administration

• Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity across locations.
• Configure and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
• Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
• Monitor network utilization and optimize performance.

Cloud Management

• Administer cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage cloud resources, virtual machines, storage, security groups, and networking.
• Optimize cloud costs and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Network & Information Security

• Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and email security solutions.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
• Monitor security incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.

User & System Administration

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and identity management.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, and related services.
• Manage user access controls and privilege management.
• Provide L2/L3 support for critical IT issues.

Vendor & Asset Management

• Coordinate with IT vendors, OEMs, and service providers.
• Manage IT procurement, AMC contracts, and license renewals.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.

Team & Project Management

• Lead and mentor IT support staff and administrators.
• Drive infrastructure enhancement and security projects.
• Prepare IT reports, budgets, and management dashboards.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL-based service management practices.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
