Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Psychology lessons for Classes 11–12 using student-centered pedagogy and contemporary teaching tools.
• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to support student mental health, academic stress, peer relationships, and career guidance.
• Design and implement school-wide social-emotional learning (SEL) programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns on mental wellness.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership to create individualized student support plans and crisis intervention protocols.
• Maintain confidential student records, progress reports, and counseling logs in compliance with ethical and institutional guidelines.
• Participate in faculty development, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities to foster a safe, inclusive school culture.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• PGT Psychology certification or equivalent from a recognized board
• Registered School Counselor credential (e.g., NCERT-trained, NIOS-certified, or state education board recognized)
• Proven experience in teaching senior secondary Psychology curriculum
• Proficiency in conducting individual/group counseling sessions
• Knowledge of adolescent psychology, learning disorders, and behavioral interventions
• Experience using digital tools for lesson planning (e.g., Google Classroom, Moodle, LMS)
• Preferred
• Certification in CBT, Mindfulness, or Positive Psychology
• Experience with CBSE/ISC/state board counseling frameworks
• Training in educational assessment tools (e.g., WISC, Raven’s Matrices, MBTI for teens)
