Litigation Counsel for Recovery Services

This position is integral to the Account Recovery Services Group within a dynamic legal team. You will manage relationships with external counsel, monitor compliance, and advise on contractual interpretations, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk policies. Your role will involve active participation in high-priority special projects and training sessions for business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee litigation processes for collections and recovery
• Provide insightful advice on pre-litigation disputes
• Collaborate closely with legal and business teams
• Manage compliance in phone-related customer issues
• Conduct financial reporting and metric preparation

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and Ontario law qualification
• Four years of litigation experience preferred
• Familiarity with mortgage enforcement laws desired
• Strong relationship management and leadership skills
• Capacity to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
