TSP is excited to announce a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients, a leading global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and commercializing innovative therapies that meet critical medical needs and enhance patients' lives.

Due to the ongoing expansion of the Medical Affairs department, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Medical Affairs Communications Specialist to join a vibrant headquarters-based team. This role will focus on driving scientific content creation and offers opportunities in publication planning and overall medical communication strategy.

Our client is looking for candidates who are willing to work on-site in the Washington DC office five days a week. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidates. Candidates must possess experience in neurology.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD, MD) required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in creating scientific resources within a pharmaceutical or agency/vendor environment aimed at healthcare professionals. Experience in Medical Affairs is highly preferred.
  • Proven medical writing and publication planning experience; CMPP certification is a plus.
  • Strong scientific background in psychiatry and/or neurology is essential, with a preference for those with industry experience in schizophrenia, mood disorders, and/or multiple sclerosis.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional written communication skills, a knack for visual data representation, and the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven project management and prioritization skills; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • This role may require 10% travel, including occasional weekends.
  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000.
