What we are looking for

Role: Infra Automation Engineer(VMware & Ansible)

Experience Range: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Chennai

Must Have:

• Develop and maintain automation and tools using various programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Bash).
• Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) to automate Infrastructure setup and management.
• Design and implement automated workflows for system provisioning, configuration management, patching, monitoring, and incident response.
• Integrate automated solutions with existing IT service management (ITSM) and monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform, storage, and networking to identify requirements and develop solutions.
• Ensure automation solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Document automated processes, code releases, and Infrastructure configurations.

Good to Have:

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Infrastructure automation or a related role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in at least one or more scripting language (Python or PowerShell preferred). Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet). Solid understanding of private cloud (e.g., VMware VCF, Nutanix) and virtualization technologies. Knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and basic networking required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Essential

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on complex systems. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
