Mode of work : Work from Office
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain batch/real-time ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and EMR, utilizing Kafka or Kinesis for streaming.
- Storage & Data Warehousing: Implement data lakes and data warehouses utilizing Amazon S3, Redshift, and Glue Catalog.
- Data Modeling & Optimization:
- Optimize data workflows for cost-efficiency and performance, implementing data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas).
- Security & Governance: Implement security policies (IAM, KMS, encryption) and data governance within Lake Formation.
- Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines using CloudWatch.
Required Technical Skills
- AWS Services: Glue, S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena, IAM.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (PySpark), Scala, or Java.
- Data Processing: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive.
- Database: SQL, relational databases (RDS), NoSQL (DynamoDB).
- IaC/DevOps: Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD tools.
