Deeply rooted in the community, the company blends trusted heritage with a forward-thinking approach — delivering fresh products with a level of personalized service that stands out in today’s fast-paced, high-tech world.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Web Developer to play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the company’s eCommerce platform.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, evaluate customer needs, assess architectural implications, and thoughtfully balance performance, scalability, and usability throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, sound judgment, clear communication skills, and a genuine desire to continuously improve systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enhancement and ongoing development of the company’s eCommerce platform across both back-end and front-end components
  • Design, build, and optimize back-end services using .NET and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Develop and refine front-end functionality using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to deliver a seamless shopping experience
  • Support platform upgrades, patches, and improvements (including NopCommerce, .NET, and MSSQL)
  • Participate in a rotational after-hours support schedule to ensure site stability and system reliability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development experience, ideally within complex eCommerce or shopping cart environments
  • Experience with third-party eCommerce platforms or bespoke custom eCommerce solutions (nopCommerce a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong understanding of SDLC principles in an iterative development environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

  • C#, .NET Core (ASP.NET, MVC), Entity Framework
  • Microsoft SQL Server (Transactional SQL)
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
  • Responsive web design principles
  • Git-based source control and collaborative development (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
