Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Department: Information Technology
Salary: $100,000-$140,000 + Benefits
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for our IT client with deep expertise in the Salesforce platform to help design, develop, and maintain mission-critical CRM solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce professional with a strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce best practices, and is comfortable working on complex business requirements in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality custom Salesforce solutions (Apex classes, triggers, LWC, Visualforce, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including admins, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize and enhance existing Salesforce applications for scalability and performance.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and other integration tools.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes for Salesforce deployments.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and data security policies.
- Conduct peer code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce platform architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom objects.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs and integration techniques.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, etc.).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
