Job Title: Mechanical Technical Sales Engineer Machine Tools Location: Work From Home Role Overview 3 to 4 Years Notice Period: 30 Days As we are expanding our business to the South, We are looking for candidates from Bangalore and Hyderabad regions Role Overview Our client based out of Noida is seeking a driven Mechanical Technical Sales Engineer with experience in the machine tools industry . The role focuses on understanding customer requirements, delivering application-based solutions, and converting opportunities into revenue through effective sales execution. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Engagement Engage with customers to understand technical and application requirements Provide solution-based selling for VMC, CNC, Sheet Metal Cutting, Grinding Machines, Rotary Tables, and related accessories Handle objections, negotiate commercials, and close orders Build strong customer relationships and drive repeat business Proposal & Order Management Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams Support contract review, scope finalization, and order processing Ensure smooth coordination for dispatch and documentation Lead Generation & Market Insights Generate leads through customer interactions and referrals Conduct structured customer need analysis (NDFF approach) Share market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback Sales Operations & Reporting Maintain CRM updates and track sales pipeline Submit daily activity updates, weekly reports, and monthly expense reports Provide sales projections to support planning and inventory decisions Payment & Closure Follow up for order finalization and ensure timely payment collection Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution and closure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 16 customer interactions + 50 tele-calls per week 100 proposals per month 30 Lakhs order booking per month Consistent follow-up and conversion performance Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of machine tools industry Hands-on exposure to: VMC (Vertical Machining Centers) CNC Machines Sheet Metal Cutting Machines Grinding Machines Rotary Tables Understanding of components such as spindles, chucks, ATC, rotary systems, and tooling accessories Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Qualification BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering OR a related field Core Competencies Strong communication (English + Hindi / Local language) Strong negotiation skills Technical aptitude with solution-selling approach Customer relationship management Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive Ability to work independently in a remote environment Listening and customer handling skills Business development and networking ability Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills Rapport building and relationship management MS Office and digital tools proficiency Presentation and organizational skills Behavioral Attributes Ethical, accountable, and goal-oriented Strong ownership with disciplined execution Organized, persistent, and result-driven Customer-focused with a continuous learning mindset Motivation & Fit Performance-driven with strong earning orientation Comfortable engaging customers and managing responsibilities independently Aligned to a win-win business approach Why This Role High ownership with direct revenue impact Exposure to the machine tools and industrial sales domain Growth in a performance-driven environment Note This role requires consistent follow-up, structured reporting, and target orientation.
